Job summary

Everett Public Schools is seeking a Day 6 Program History Teacher to support re-engaged students at Everett High School. The role focuses on delivering history instruction for an evening/saturday program and coordinating with staff to close opportunity gaps.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and MA licensure with SEI endorsement; preferred candidates have a Master’s in Education and HQIM experience. The program runs Sept–June, with evening sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and MA licensure attained or eligible.
• SEI endorsement required.
• HQIM experience and/or knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver History lessons for in-person and hybrid classes.
• Lead daily mini-lessons for small groups with varied needs.
• Create assignments to be completed outside school using a tech platform.
• Monitor progress and provide timely feedback to students.
• Utilize SEI strategies for English Learners and IEP students.
• Collaborate with counselors and SPED leadership to support students.
