Job summary

FedEx is looking for a part-time Material Handler to operate equipment safely for moving packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. You will assist with pallet build/breakdown and liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed, performing other duties as assigned.

This role requires physical capability, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in various weather conditions within a noisy operations environment. Training will be provided as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk/stand for designated work hours and work in a noisy environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate in all weather conditions at the work location.
• Shift requires part-time availability with early evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and the ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
