Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time worker for handling and moving packages, with a focus on safe equipment operation and pallet buildup/breakdown. The role requires lifting heavy freight, maneuvering large packages, and working in varying weather conditions.

Hours are flexible with two shift options; a 20-hour work week is possible. A drug screen is required and a valid driver’s license is needed for operation of motorized conveyances.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level
• Able to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated hours
• Able to maneuver heavy packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces
• Able to operate in all weather conditions at the work location
• Must complete basic and recurrency training

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
