Job summary

FedEx is seeking a part-time material handler in Colorado Springs to operate equipment safely and move packages, documents, and heavy freight. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and may liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in varying weather, and the capacity to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend, squat and maneuver heavy packages as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment for movement of packages and heavy freight.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Acts as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
