Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate equipment for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and ULDs. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and coordinate with an ULD repair vendor as required.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, walking and standing for long hours, readiness for all weather, and a valid driver’s license. Early Morning Shift Tue–Sat 3:00–8:00, pay rate $21.06/hr plus a $4.00 premium.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Must complete all basic and currency training.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
