Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician focused on preventative maintenance of plant equipment. You will perform necessary PMs, assist with equipment moves, and support the maintenance team.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year in an industrial setting. You will work Monday-Friday night shift 3 PM – 11 PM; candidates should be able to lift heavy objects and participate in LEAN initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of hand tools, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Complete PMs daily.
• Assist with equipment moves as required.
• Assist with down equipment if needed.
• Support vendors as needed.
• Support facility LEAN initiatives as to how it relates to the maintenance department.
• Perform all duties under the direction of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor or designate.
• Participate in training to become more proficient in facility and equipment related programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
