Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for our Distribution Center. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/electronic equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You will diagnose issues from drawings and use diagnostic tools, while maintaining safety and organization. The role requires willingness to work evenings and weekends on a 6th shift schedule, with growth opportunities in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: Associate's degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices
• Diagnose electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools
• Assist other maintenance technicians in repair and maintenance of equipment
• Initiate and implement new procedures or designs to maintain equipment efficiency
• Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within Maintenance
