Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at our Distribution Center in Cowpens, SC. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical controls to keep equipment at peak efficiency.

You will also maintain a safe, organized work area, complete work orders, and communicate technical issues to leadership to minimize downtime. This role requires shift work and flexibility for overtime and holidays.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
• Hands-on industrial electrical experience: 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices
• Diagnose electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools
• Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department
• Operate material handling equipment and battery-powered machinery safely
• Complete work orders and communicate technical issues to leadership and suppliers
