Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, and electrical/electronic equipment at the distribution center.

You will diagnose problems using blueprints and diagnostic tools and help keep equipment running efficiently while maintaining safety and organization. The role requires knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and 480V 3-phase systems, with willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology or an associate degree in electronic technology; 2 years maintenance experience in electronics is acceptable
• Experience diagnosing and repairing automated equipment in a distribution/industrial setting
• Ability to read electrical schematics/blueprints and troubleshoot PLCs/motor drives

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyors, lift trucks, docking equipment and electrical/electronic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with networks, PLCs, motor drives, and external I/O devices
• Document work orders and communicate technical issues to leadership to minimize downtime
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment within the maintenance department
