Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Night-shift Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor for the Braselton distribution center. You will lead a team of technicians and custodians to keep equipment and facilities safe, reliable, and operational, while coordinating preventive maintenance and improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance in automated environments and at least 2 years of supervisory experience, with on-site duties and strong safety focus in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Industrial Systems, or a related technical field preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of maintenance experience in a highly automated distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or supply-chain environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or people-leadership experience in a distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similarly complex environment.
• Demonstrated experience with conveyor, sortation, automated material handling, and facility maintenance systems required.
• Experience with WCS, PLCs, controls, CMMS, or similar maintenance and automation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a working supervisor for the evening/night-shift Maintenance and Facilities team (4–5 Technicians, 4 Utility Technicians, 4 Custodians).
• Lead department performance related to equipment maintenance, reliability, and preventive maintenance completion.
• Develop and mentor Maintenance Technician Levels 1–3 and the Entry-level Apprentice Program.
• Coordinate performance appraisals, timekeeping, scheduling, and attendance for direct reports.
• Participate in facilities, equipment, and process-improvement projects as assigned.
• Address employee performance and conduct concerns with HR and company policies.
