Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor for the Braselton distribution center. You will lead the evening/night shift, oversee a team of technicians and custodians, and ensure safe, reliable operations of a large automated facility.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automated maintenance and at least 2 years of supervision, with experience in conveyor/sortation systems and WCS/PLCs. This on-site role offers growth within a major apparel distribution network.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
5+ years of maintenance experience in highly automated environments.
2+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience.
Experience with conveyor, sortation, automated material handling, and facility maintenance systems.
Experience with WCS, PLCs, CMMS or similar systems preferred.
OSHA General Industry knowledge and workplace safety focus.

Responsibilities

Lead onsite maintenance and facilities for evening/night shift.
Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot 1.2M sq ft facility equipment to minimize downtime.
Manage staffing and ensure safety compliance and housekeeping.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and document work.
Monitor and optimize machine control settings via WCS.
Lead maintenance projects and process improvements.
