Job summary

Carter''s Inc. in Braselton, GA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for night shifts to lead a technical team and ensure safe, reliable operation of automated equipment and facilities across a 1.2 million-square-foot distribution center.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot conveyors and sortation, coordinate with Operations and HR, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Must have associate or bachelor''s degree in a technical field.
• Five or more years of maintenance experience in a highly automated environment.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Experience with conveyor, sortation, and automated material handling systems is required.
• Experience with WCS, PLCs, CMMS or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evening/night-shift Maintenance and Facilities team (approx. 4-5 Maintenance Technicians, 4 Utility Technicians, 4 Custodians).
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment across a 1.2 million-square-foot facility.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans and oversee staffing coverage.
• Coordinate with Operations on priorities, equipment status, and downtime impacts.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability, material flow, and safety.
• Lead and participate in maintenance, facility, and process-improvement projects.
