The Opal Collection, operator of The Resort at Longboat Key Club in Florida, seeks a Line Cook (PM) to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook menu items, maintain clean stations, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Food Handler’s certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to meet guest satisfaction and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and timely delivery of dishes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations and practices.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Adapt and respond quickly to any special dietary needs or requests.
