Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional cooking experience.
• Culinary training is a plus but not required.
• Strong knife skills and culinary prep knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible PM hours and weekends.
• Willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening task lists to prepare for daily operations.
• Unwrap/prepare prepped items and check dates and freshness.
• Gather equipment and shift needs.
• Write prep lists and review prior night’s prep to ensure stock and pars.
• Prep food items for service period.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Restock station and finalize before shift turnover.
• Clean and break down station during shift changes.
• Remove trash and cardboard from kitchen areas.
• Clean and sweep service line to meet safety standards.
• Mop kitchen areas as required.
• Complete nightly inventory counts.
• Follow daily/weekly cleaning guidelines and deep clean as assigned.
• Know menu items and promotions.
• Check stations for proper storage and sanitation.
• Be aware of food allergies and safety in preparation.
