Job summary

S&L Hospitality is seeking a Line and Prep Cook to adhere to menu items and food safety procedures. Ideal candidates will have prior heart-of-house prep and line cook experience, work independently, be detail oriented, and committed to quality during restaurant hours.

The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within our properties. Prior kitchen experience and ability to communicate effectively in English are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old; age requirements per local laws.
• Must communicate in English.
• Flexible schedule.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain cleanliness.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and necessary equipment.
• Prepare ingredients utilizing proper techniques and utensils.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and orders meet guest’s expectations.
• Follow and practice food health and safety policies and procedures.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly workstation, environment in the kitchen.
• Check quality of ingredients, restock and replenish station as necessary.
