Job summary

The University of Cincinnati's Langsam Library seeks an experienced operations lead to oversee afternoon and evening service desk coverage. You will supervise student associates, coordinate Course Reserves, and administer library systems including Alma/Primo/Leganto.

Responsibilities include staff training, policy interpretation, and ongoing improvements to workflows to support UC students and faculty. This role emphasizes collaboration with librarians and campus partners to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years of related education and/or experience can fulfill minimum requirements.
• Experience supervising student staff or similar teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with library systems and policies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desks and supervise student associates during afternoon/evening hours.
• Coordinate Course Reserves services and ensure timely processing of requests.
• Provide training and guidance to staff and student workers.
• Maintain and improve operational procedures and workflows for Langsam Library.
• Monitor and report on operational data to support planning and improvement.
