Job summary

Tarrant County College District (TCCD) Southeast Campus is seeking a part-time Specialist, Library to provide circulation support, organize library materials, and assist students and staff at the Southeast Campus. The role includes checking materials in and out, shelving, and answering moderately complex questions.

The position requires evening hours, adherence to library policies, and the ability to operate the automated circulation system while maintaining accurate records and reports.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 college hours completed with 1 year of related experience
• Experience in frontline customer service preferred
• Knowledge of library policies and procedures essential

Responsibilities

• Provide circulation services and organize library materials
• Maintain circulation records and prepare reports
• Answer moderately complex questions and refer to a librarian when appropriate
• Locate materials including databases and electronic resources
• Operate automated circulation system and shelve materials properly
