Job summary

Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is hiring a Specialist II for the Northwest Campus Learning Commons. You will deliver front-line customer service to students, staff, and the public, while crossing into clerical, lab, library, and learning support duties across multiple spaces.

You will assist with information access, technology support, and workshops, under campus leadership. This is a full-time on-site role with standard monthly pay and required evening/weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Required Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree or 60 college hours and one year of working experience related to the Essential Performance, or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: College education beyond the minimum; degree in IT/CS or related field; tutoring/teaching experience; workshop development; CRLA training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line customer service to students, employees, and the public at the Learning Commons.
• Oversees front desk operations and assists with scheduling, calendar management, and communications.
• Assists patrons with library resources, technology, and troubleshooting of printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Supports learning labs, tutoring, and workshops; collaborates with faculty on events and boot camps.
• Maintains materials, spaces, and maker space equipment; ensures safety and order.
