Job summary

Millersville University is seeking a Collections Accessibility Technician and Evening Supervisor to ensure access to print and electronic materials, oversee evening operations, and manage resource sharing workflows. The role includes supervision of Course Reserves, Document Remediation, and Stacks Maintenance.

The position offers an annual salary of $46,827 plus a comprehensive benefits package and tuition waiver opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four years of library-clerical work including two years of advanced clerical work or an associate degree or equivalent training with major coursework in library science
• Proficiency with ILS or systems used to perform Interlibrary Loan functions
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
• Demonstrated problem solving and ability to train and supervise others
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee documents remediation workflow for ADA Title II accessibility compliance
• Remediate PDFs and other documents for course reserves and fulfill requests
• Supervise evening Access Services operations including Circulation and Resource Sharing services
• Supervise stacks maintenance for collections and ensure accessibility
• Perform copy cataloging and assist with cataloging projects as time allows
• Train and supervise student workers and ensure quality customer service
