Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing seeks a Laboratory Technician I for a Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm shift. The role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and focuses on performing registered sample analyses, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and related requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold an AS or BS in a science field, have experience with plating, plate reading, and sample prep, and possess the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations relative to assigned analytical work; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Registration of incoming samples (as needed) and maintaining records for quality control.
