Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for a Tue-Sat shift, 2:00pm–10:30pm. The role involves receiving and registering samples, performing tests, recording data in the eLIMS system, and ensuring timely turnaround while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.

A BA is preferred but not required, with opportunities for growth in a safety-conscious environment. Preferred AS/BS in Microbiology or related field; plating, plate reading, and sample preparation experience

Qualifications

• BA degree recommended but not required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Register incoming samples and maintain a neat daily records system.
• Enter sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system accurately and timely.
• Complete laboratory testing on all samples and ensure turnaround goals are met.
• Verify results and report to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 / AOAC requirements and safety regulations.

Education

BA degree recommended but not required

AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field
