Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Technician I in the Registration Department. The role involves processing client orders, coordinating samples with partner labs, and ensuring timely COA releases.

The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00am to 6:30pm, with opportunities to support quality systems and data entry. The ideal candidate has a Microbiology-related AS/BS and hands-on lab experience, strong organizational skills, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• Team spirit and positive attitude are essential to being successful in this role.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records and comply with policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Manage outsourced samples with partner Eurofins laboratories to ensure timely COA release for clients.
• Prepare samples to be sent to sister labs or other contract labs.
• Process online electronic orders from clients and sister labs.
• Coordinate courier services to ensure timely arrival and delivery of samples.
