Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a dependable lab technician for 2nd shift (Tue-Sat, 4pm–12:30am) or 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 12am–8:30am) to support sample testing and data entry. You will follow Quality System documents, perform daily assays, prepare solutions, and maintain records in logbooks and the eLIMS system.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, familiarity with ISO 17025, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 0-3 years experience or equivalent
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 guidelines preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents (Quality Manual, SOPs, Methods, Local Policies).
• Assist in daily assaying of samples and perform testing from a daily work list.
• Set up batches of samples to weigh and weigh samples; prepare solutions used in testing.
• Maintain neat records and enter data into logbooks and the eLIMS system.
• Maintain a safe, clean laboratory and dispose of hazardous wastes per procedures.
• Communicate results and cooperate with coworkers and supervisors.
