Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Louisville, KY is looking for a Laboratory Technician I to support the laboratory supervisor, ensuring timely, accurate testing and data entry within a quality system. The role emphasizes adherence to ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC guidelines and a commitment to safety.

Shifts run Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00am–6:30pm. Ideal candidates hold a HS Diploma with preferred AS/BS in Microbiology or related field and experience in plating, plate reading, and sample

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field.
• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to management system requirements and ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate daily records for QC or regulatory purposes.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately and timely.
• Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples efficiently and on time.
• Verify results and submit them for transmission promptly.
• Identify process difficulties and report with proposed solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain cooperative relationships and communicate with colleagues.
