Vanderbilt University Hospital is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy. You will support pharmacists in dispensing and distributing medications and cross-train across all pharmacy operations, inventory control, and customer service for internal and external customers.

The role includes operating computer systems, maintaining compliance with regulations, and assisting with central workflows in a satellite pharmacy in the Jim Ayers Tower.

Formación

• Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee.
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists/Pharmacy Managers in accordance with federal, state and local laws/regulations and hospital policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
