Vanderbilt University Hospital is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy. The role involves assisting the pharmacist with preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications, delivering medications to Omnicell machines, triaging nursing calls and restocking supplies.

Must hold a PTCB or NHA certification. You will engage in inventory control processes, provide strong customer service and operate pharmacy computer systems as part of a collaborative health

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician required; must be certified through PTCB or NHA.
• Supports pharmacist with preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsabilités

• Assists the pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Delivers medications, fluids and narcotics to Omnicell machines and triages requests from nursing staff.
• Delivers stat doses and supports pharmacy operations.
