Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy on the evening shift. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications, inventory control, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Must be a certified technician (PTCB or NHA) to be considered. Hours are Mon-Fri 2:00pm–10:30pm with every 3rd weekend rotation; sign-on bonuses apply only in specific cases.

• Understanding of pharmacy terminology and processes.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Apply inventory control processes.
• Follow laws, regulations and hospital policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operate computer systems used in medication management.
• Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacists/Pharmacy Managers.
