Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Part-Time Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing and distributing medications, while maintaining strict inventory control and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires certification (PTCB or NHA) and supports a 20-hour weekly schedule with three weekend rotations and four holidays per year.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA.
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings preferred.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week and support pharmacists.

Responsabilités

• Assists the pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and Pharmacy Managers in line with laws and policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and uses pharmacy technology.
