Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy. The role supports pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications, delivers medications to units, and assists with inventory control.

Hours: Monday–Friday with rotating shifts including early mornings; weekend rotation every third weekend per the posting. You must hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician credential through PTCB or NHA.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician required (PTCB or NHA).
• Experience assisting pharmacists with preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Strong inventory control and ability to use pharmacy computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Support inventory control processes and restock supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and triage nursing requests.
• Operate Omnicell and pharmacy computer systems.
