Vanderbilt University Hospital is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy on night shift. This role supports pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, handling inventory, and delivering patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting in Nashville, TN.

The position requires certification through PTCB or NHA and offers cross-training across pharmacy operations, including central workflows, Omnicell deliveries, sterile compounding, and OR pharmacy support.

Qualifications

• Performs tasks in support of pharmacists and is supervised by a pharmacist.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician required (PTCB or NHA).
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and hospital workflows.

Responsabilités

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with federal, state and local laws/regulations and hospital policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
