Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy on the evening shift at Vanderbilt University Hospital. The role involves assisting pharmacists, handling medication preparation and distribution, and supporting inventory control and customer service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position requires CPhT certification (PTCB or NHA), eligibility to work in the U.S., and offers shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA
• Evening shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm
• Cross-train across all pharmacy operations
• Sign-on bonus available for new full-time staff

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing, dispensing and distributing medications
• Apply departmental inventory control processes
• Follow laws and hospital policies in daily duties
• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
• Operate computer systems and use technology
• Adhere to role responsibilities as assigned by Pharmacists/Managers
