Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist for the Immunology Lab in Winfield, IL. This full-time, 40-hour position requires 2pm–10:30pm shifts with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a lab-related science or allied health field; eligible for ASCP or equivalent certification.
• ASCP certification eligibility or equivalent required.
• Commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-analytic workflow and ensure correct specimen collection and labeling.
• Verify orders and non-patient information per protocol.
• Conduct analytical testing following SOPs and maintain instrument QC.
• Perform post-analytic reporting and ensure timely, accurate results.

Connaissances

ASCP certification

Formation

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Allied Health qualifying the applicant to take the ASCP, or equivalent certification examination.
