Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology.
• ASCP Board of Registry certification within 1 year of hire.
• Preferred: minimum of five (5) years of clinical laboratory experience including professional experience in a technical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory coordination: review results, QC/QA, develop SOPs, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Staff selection, training, competency and evaluation; manage staffing and overtime.
• Technical duties: perform complex testing, maintain QC/QA, report results, support instrument maintenance.
