Job summary

Rise Baking Company is seeking an Operator III for the York, PA production line. This full-time role involves operating and maintaining icing production equipment, monitoring ingredient usage, and ensuring batch quality on a fast-paced line.

The job requires standing, lifting, and working overtime as needed on a Monday–Friday schedule. Responsibilities include inventory checks, data entry into the WMS, adherence to GMPs, and reporting any food safety or quality concerns to supervisors and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Math skills and English literacy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanner gun.

Responsibilities

• Inspects mixing equipment for cleanliness and reports deficiencies to supervisor.
• Reviews ingredient requirements and updates inventory daily.
• Calculates batch requirements and scales ingredients as directed by supervisor.
• Operates mixing and metering equipment according to procedures.
• Maintains batch records and ingredient lot numbers and temperatures.
• Enters information into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices and keeps work areas clean.
• Maintains communication with line lead to ensure icing supply.
• Reports safety hazards and complies with GMPs.
• Ensures products meet SQF Food Safety Code requirements.
