Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions on a regular basis.
• Able to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
• Stand for a full shift.
• Over 40 hours per week and overtime required.
• Basic math skills.
• Read and write English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanner gun.
• Tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
• Train and coach new and existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Inspects mixing equipment for cleanliness and reports deficiencies.
• Reviews ingredient requirements and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
• Reviews icing inventory and updates inventory daily.
• Calculates batch requirements and batch size adjustments.
• Operates mixing and metering equipment.
• Maintains batch records and ingredient lot numbers.
• Enters information into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Follows GMPs and keeps areas/equipment clean.
• Maintains communication with line lead for icing supply.
• Report safety hazards and comply with GMP.
• Ensure products meet SQF Food Safety Code requirements.
• Back up for this position is other Icing Mixers and Production Lead.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
