The Barrel Steak & Seafood House in Spokane, WA is seeking part-time host staff for evenings. Applicants must be 18+, have a WA State Food Worker Card and MAST/Class 12 or 13, and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Prior restaurant service experience is preferred and a strong, courteous demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC) required.
• MAST/Class 12 or 13 required.
• One year of restaurant service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule and weekends required.
• Able to listen to customers and respond effectively.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, detail-oriented.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with courteous, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and payments from customers following service steps.
• Upsell by suggesting specials, promotions, and events.
• Deliver and announce food and drinks promptly and accurately.
• Accommodate special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Complete opening, running, closing duties and side work as assigned.
