Job summary

The Barrel Steak & Seafood House is seeking full and part-time evening line cook positions with a minimum of 2 years’ cooking experience. Our team emphasizes service, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen, with a focus on consistency and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Two years of cooking experience in a professional and fast-paced environment required or preferred.
• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC) required or preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and weekends.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Familiar with kitchen equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures
• On time and attend all meetings
• Stock and set up kitchen stations
• Ensure that all food products and menu items meet company recipe specifications for preparation, quality and preparation
• Work with front of house staff to ensure that orders are completed according to food & service standards and on time
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures, regulations and laws are strictly followed
• Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of incident, injury and food handling related issues

The Barrel Steak & Seafood House is currently hiring full and part time evening line cook positions. Minimum 2 years experience required.

The Barrel Steak & Seafood House features signature seasoning and hand-selected beef from Pacific Northwest ranches. Our dining room and lounge are perfect for a classic cocktail after golf, for a family out for the evening or a celebratory anniversary dinner. Our patio is a true gem; one of the best in Spokane.

Wage

• Pay range for position: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
• Earn weekly tips
