Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures
• Be punctual and attend all meetings

• Coordinate with front of house to ensure timely orders
• Complete opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Maintain sanitation and food safety procedures and laws
• Create a safe work environment to minimize risks

The Barrel Steak & Seafood House is currently hiring for part time prep cook position. Must be available mornings and weekends.

Wage

• Pay range for position: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
• Earn weekly tips

Responsibilities/Duties

• Follow all policies and procedures
• On time and attend all meetings
• Stock and set up kitchen stations
• Ensure that all food products and menu items meet company recipe specifications for preparation, quality and preparation
• Work with front of house staff to ensure that orders are completed according to food & service standards and on time
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures, regulations and laws are strictly followed
• Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of incident, injury and food handling related issues

Skills/Experience

• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
• Two (2) years previous cooking experience in a professional and fast paced environment preferred
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
