Job summary

The Barrel Steak & Seafood House in Spokane, WA is seeking a full-time General Manager to lead daily operations, guest service, and financial performance. This role requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of restaurant management experience, relevant certifications, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum restaurant management experience.
• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC).
• Washington State MAST/Class 12.
• Certified Food Protection Manager certification preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details.
• Proven leadership and motivational skills.
• Display a professional appearance and be a positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Oversee daily operations including ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, preparation, guest relations, and service standards.
• Responsible for financial operations of restaurant.
• Forecast sales and labor budgets; meet revenue, labor cost, and COGS goals.
• Lead staff training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Coach, guide, and develop staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure sanitation, food safety regulations, and equipment maintenance are followed.
