Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking an Evening Housekeeper in Environmental Services for full-time hours. The role is based in United States facilities and focuses on cleaning patient rooms, labs, and common areas per infection-control protocols.

Responsibilities include waste handling, PPE use, safe chemical handling, and collaboration with staff to maintain a sterile, welcoming environment for patients and families. Prior housekeeping in healthcare settings preferred.

Qualifications

• The ability to speak fluent English and read, write and understand simple instructions in English.

Responsabilités

• Performs full range of restroom cleaning and complete patient room cleaning per protocol.
• Follows infection prevention protocols and selects proper chemicals for tasks.
• Maintains walls, doors, glass/windows, furniture, floors through cleaning tasks.
• Properly removes trash, recyclables, and waste streams according to guidelines.
• Uses PPE correctly and follows safety procedures to protect self and others.
• Adheres to hospital policies and departmental rules.
• Operates and follows protocol for UltraViolet Light equipment safely.
• Documents daily assignments and adapts to staffing needs.
• Communicates with staff, patients, and visitors with a positive, service-focused attitude.
