Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Housekeeper for a full-time evening shift in Georgia. You will perform restroom and patient room cleaning, manage waste and linens, and ensure environments meet cleaning and infection control standards to support safe patient care.

Following established protocols and PPE usage, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for patients and staff. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with some experience preferred and fluency in English

Qualifications

• Fluent English; read/write simple instructions in English.
• Must complete departmental training within first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of restroom cleaning and patient room cleaning following protocols.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and use appropriate chemicals.
• Handle waste streams according to guidelines for different waste types.
• Use PPE correctly and maintain personal safety.
• Follow safe lifting techniques and workplace rules.
