Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for the day shift. This full-time position covers cleaning in hospital areas, including patient rooms and isolation zones, with emphasis on safety, waste handling, and infection prevention.

Ideal candidates may have a high school diploma and some experience, and will receive comprehensive training. You will interact with staff, patients, and families while delivering excellent service and using the Epic system for daily

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and comprehension required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must complete Departmental Training within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Performs full range of restroom and patient room cleaning following hospital protocols.
• Uses appropriate chemicals and PPE; follows infection prevention guidelines.
• Handles waste and liners according to waste type and safety rules.
• Maintains cleaning standards in operating room suites and other areas as assigned.
• Interacts with staff, patients and visitors with positive customer service.
• Documents daily assignments and uses Epic system to manage patient flow.
• Supports performance improvement projects and adheres to hospital policies.
