Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (general).
• All certifications required upon hire unless stated otherwise.
• Some relevant experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Performs full restroom cleaning and complete patient room cleaning per protocol.
• Follows infection prevention protocols and selects proper chemicals.
• Manages waste streams and proper disposal including bio-hazard, chemotherapy, and pharmaceutical waste.
• Uses PPE correctly and observes safe lifting techniques.
• Maintains documentation in the Epic system and communicates with staff as needed.
