Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is hiring a Housekeeper – Environmental Services Technician for full-time evenings 6:00pm-2:30am. You will support cleaning of hospital areas, follow safety and infection prevention protocols, and deliver compassionate service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Key responsibilities include restroom and patient room cleaning, waste handling, proper PPE usage, and collaboration with the clinical team. Prior experience is preferred; certifications required on hire.

Qualifications

• The ability to speak fluent English; read, write and understand simple English instructions.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• Some experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs full range of restroom and patient room cleaning following protocol.
• Complies with infection prevention protocols and uses appropriate chemicals.
• Proper removal of waste, recyclables, and regulated materials; uses PPE correctly.
• Maintains documentation of daily assignments; uses Epic system to track beds and patients.
• Duties include communication with staff, patients, and visitors to support World Class Service.
