Qualifications

• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment (machine scrubbers, carpet cleaners).
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate with others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around busy hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Cleans furniture and carpets in rooms, hallways, stairs, and offices using power equipment.
• Operates cleaning equipment and reports safety hazards or repairs.
• Sets up rooms for meetings and handles audio visual equipment as needed.
• Cleans patient care areas, restrooms, lobbies, offices, and elevators.
• Disposes recyclables and hazardous waste following infection-control guidelines.
