Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring part-time Environmental Services staff to clean patient care areas, restrooms, lobbies and offices, ensuring a safe and sanitary facility. Shifts run 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays, totaling 20 hours per week and pay between $18.85 and $28.30 per hour.

No formal education or prior experience is required. Candidates should have basic computer skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions, work independently, and provide

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators and stairwells.
• Cleans environmental surfaces including ceilings, walls, doors, furniture and beds; assists with spills.
• Dusts and damp mops floors in patient and exam areas, corridors and restrooms.
• Replaces cubicle/window coverings and manages linens.
• Sorts, stocks and delivers supplies; handles waste per infection control guidelines.
• Reports mechanical/unsafe conditions to supervisor.
