Advocate South Suburban Hospital environmental services team is seeking a full-time Environmental Services worker. The role focuses on cleaning and disinfecting patient areas and hospital spaces to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

Hours are 2pm-10:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm with alternating weekends and holidays. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to operate basic cleaning equipment, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills and abilities include operating small electrical equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Clear English communication in daily work and safety materials.

Responsabilités

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using approved solutions and procedures.
• Work areas include patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, elevators and corridors.
• Operate department equipment following procedures and safety rules.
• Replenish supplies and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Attend mandatory department meetings and comply with attendance policies.
