Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services worker for our Aurora Sinai Medical Center location. This role covers cleaning patient care areas, lobbies, restrooms, and offices, with a heavy emphasis on safety and infection control. The schedule is 24 hours per week, 11:00pm to 7:30am, every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, maintaining supply inventories, and supporting department policies. Benefits eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3 years of experience in environmental services.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate power-cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain rooms, floors, carpets, and equipment in patient care areas and facilities.
• Perform scheduled terminal and project cleaning in surgical areas.
• Handle disposal of waste and linen following safety guidelines.
• Set up rooms for meetings and deliver AV equipment as needed.
