Job summary

The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha’s Blackstone District is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. You will assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front desk operations and ensuring the highest level of guest service.

This role primarily covers evening shifts, supervising staff, enforcing procedures, and acting as Manager On-Duty to support a smooth, personalized guest experience at our boutique property.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1+ year departmental management or supervisory experience in hotel front office.
• Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently.
• Prior cash handling experience necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to all guests.
• Help manage the front office staff and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Support operational consistency and smooth check-in/check-out processes.
• Work primarily evening shifts to ensure a Manager On-Duty is available.
• Act as on-duty leader to resolve guest issues and maintain service standards.
