The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha’s Blackstone District is seeking a dynamic Group Sales Manager to grow our group business and elevate the guest experience. You’ll identify opportunities, cultivate relationships with planners and clients, and lead a collaborative sales effort across departments to deliver memorable events.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, preferably in hotel group sales or related hospitality sales.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to clients and industry partners.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze sales opportunities, understand market trends, and develop strategies that drive business.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications; hotel sales system experience is a plus.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong partnerships across hotel departments.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
